$1295 is one of the largest I have ever heard for a doc fee. Absolutely insane for a pure dealer profit fee.

They can ask for what they want. I did not pay over MSRP, but a friend of mine paid 35k for a USED XLT because they had to have the one on the lot and did not want to wait. TBH id rather pay 5k over the 25k MSRP than 50k+ for an F150.

You have to be eligible for it usually through a friend/neighbor or an affiliated organization of some sort. Usually, membership in the groups requires 90 days before purchase, so no late minute signups. The dealer also has to be willing to accept the X-plan. It is an all or nothing thing too...

I saved over $1200 via X-Plan, mainly because my dealer charged a very high doc fee that got reduced to 99.

Not sure what this means. They were clear that private offers would come after ALL scheduling was done. My order has been scheduled and given a VIN 2 weeks ago and I was under the impression that limited availability was only affecting unscheduled in terms of whether/likehood of scheduling...

Not it... I really really hope.

Limited mud flaps, I’m pretty sure based on what Tim and others have said means virtually none with mud flaps will be scheduled. I know I know, my build had them and I still can’t believe it either. After last weeks failure to get builds in here I hope more than a few of you get a build...

When I hear baby truck, I have horrible flash backs of that awful baby shark song my niece and nephews used to sing over and over and over again. If someone puts that song with modified lyrics to maverick stock footage, I may turn in my keys when they arrive out of shame.
