Anyone running aftermarket forward lighting?

We are getting a mav fx4/tow package soon for our adventure rig. Anyone running bright forward lighting on their mav? how did you mount them? I am looking at getting the licence plate mount and putting a set of 7" auxbeam LED round lights on the top, a 22" 5d pro bar on the bottom of it, and then somewhere on the bottom area of the bumper mount a set of amber fog beam patterns. We have ALOT of moose on our highways, so extra forward lighting is a requirement for driving in the night in our parts.

I'm rural Montana and the wildlife is pretty dangerous especially during winter months when daylight is less than 8 hours a day. Luckily only tagged one elk. I've had a light bar and ditch lights mounted previously on a Tacoma and found them to cause too much glare from the signs on road driving. So take that into account before you go this route. It's pretty awful and blinding.

That said, the headlights on the Maverick are great. Won't replace the wider throw of light bar on certain back roads but they are one thing I required when making the switch from my Tacoma and I am not disappointed. So I suggest giving them a shot before you start looking for more lighting solutions.

I made the mistake of wiring the light bar in my Tacoma to the high beams, so whatever you chose, I'd advise against that for sure. Way too much even for rural Montana roads. I found myself dimming much sooner for approaching traffic than I normally would.

I have a set of the Lasfit 3" LED fog lights that I'm pretty happy with. Good light output and cutoff profile.

This is what I decided to do. I have since changed because I get bored. But the lights were/are great. The mount worked great however I suggest adding an extra bracket from the top to the lower grill for stability.

Thats the mount I am going to use on both of our rigs. Adding auxbeam 5d pro 7" led lights. I have had awesome HID hellas on my previous 2 jeeps and they rocked. I may use that setup again, if I don't like the auxbeams throw.

Where did you power these from? I've tried engine bay jumper post and the parasitic draw of my light bar results in FordPass shutting down useful features like remote start. Then I tried turn signal always on power (blue wire, middle of turn signal lamp) and kills the power immediately - I'm guessing from power over-draw. Curious how you made this work.
