Anyone reconsidering their order / purchase?

I have not reconsidered. I am actually so happy that I did not buy the Bronco sport. The maverick is exactly what I wanted and I just didn't know it yet.

Really didn’t matter for me since I had to drive over an hour to even get to Atlanta (Lagrange fleet dealer kept giving run around for over a week), but I live 5 min from I-85.
So I just went with the place that was setup first since both Mall of Georgia and Chapman had worked it out already with a previous customer.
Val was 200 and know the road that runs though ATL airport? I think it is camp creek at that point, it runs through Cedartown and it takes less than a mile and 2 turns to get there. So I understand completely. Wade is 6 turns and 50 minutes from the house. Mall of GA is 2 hours and actually have to go through ATL (or around via 285 which would be passing right by Wade Ford) so yeah some thinking, different direction. Besides Val is 200$ and close enough by I can do my maintenance there as I am in Marietta often enough

I am considering upgrading my XL to a Lariat. It is 10k upgrade on a 20k truck. Just waiting on God to give me a sign.

Personally, I believe that once you start getting into a lariat with packages added on, you're too close to a ranger in price so you might as well look into those too. For me, the sweet spot is an optioned XLT.
The maverick Lariat lux package gives you features that aren't available on the ranger such as, but not limited to:
Wireless charger
Heated steering wheel
Adaptive cruise control with lane centering

Ignoring those points though, optioned out similar to my lariat maverick build the ranger comes out $8000 more expensive and gets worse mpg.
I came very close to buying a ranger but then the maverick was announced and I found it suited me much better.

I've thought about it a lot. I do not need this vehicle at all. Had planned to just have one vehicle period. The ONLY thing that made me order is the Hybrid engine.

I'm still contemplating cancelling as late as 4 AM this morning. Laying there wondering why I'm even doing this. No decision yet.
I would suggest waiting until your Maverick arrives so you can test drive, look at it, and then decide. Especially if you have a refundable deposit then really what do you have to lose?

I was also looking at a Ranger as a possible replacement for my current '04 Ranger, but kept putting it off because the current Ranger is a nice size, just lacking rear seating and modern convinces. The new Ranger model is a lot more truck than I would ever need.
Then one night a bright shining add beamed in from Detroit and my laptop lit up, "Behold Maverick, the truck you need, the truck you want!" And so it came to pass that I reserved a CGM Maverick! :ROFLMAO: I have no doubts Maverick is the truck I've been waiting for!

Yeah, main reason I'm looking at Mav is because for these Four things: New (not used) 4 (real) doors, sporty/upsell engine (2.0 in this case), and AWD/4WD, I can get the Mav for ~25k. To get a Ranger or Colorado with those 4 things, it's 30 if not 35k currently.

In order to get a Ranger or Colly for 25k in todays inflated market, I have to sacrifice on at least one of those things if not more. Like if I get a 4dr, V6 (upsell engine), 4WD Colorado for 25k, I'd likely literally be looking at a 2015-17 used with 100k (!) miles on it right now. The market is crazy.

I hear that. We had a day 2 full size bronco reservation, spent the last year tracking all the build info and news, saw it in person and just decided for the size of it and such, day to day driving would not be super fun until u got off-road , just didn't make sense anymore with the build we put together@ 46k - $33k !oaded XLT should do the trick, hopefully.

I just sold a 20 Ranger and it was a very good truck but bigger than I wanted or needed.
I am sure the new updated 22 Ranger will have improvements. There will be little bleed over between the Maverick, Ranger and F150. Three different trucks for 3 different buyers.

No, there is no other vehicle that meets my needs like the Maverick. I currently drive a Chevy Silverado (which is much bigger than I need) on the days I need a truck and a Nissan Altima on the days I don't. This truck will replace both.

Only second guessing my trim level, but too late to change now that my XLT Lux FX4 2.0 AWD is scheduled for 9/13 build. I’m probably going to order another one in Lariat form (no Lux) so I can get the push button start, proximity key, Active X seats and 235 tires. Only about $1500 difference. The XLT will give me initial impressions for anything else I may want to change and supply will still be limited enough that I can sell quickly without losing money. Also, I have a new driver turning 16 in October and this is perfect for him.
