I'm glad to hear about the lack of audible alerts. When I drive my Dad's Forester, I am often startled by all the beeps and screen alerts that keep happening. Each time I glance at the info screen to see what's going on. Add to that, I've had emergency braking take over when it thinks I'm going to crash on three different occasions. It makes for a nervy drive when ever I shuttle my father around.

I admit there is a modern tech learning curve I need to overcome as I've been driving an '02 Civic for the last 20 years. But I've been accident free for those 20 years and it just seems to me that all the onboard nannies can be distracting for already attentive drivers. With the Maverick, I'm expecting I'll be able fine-tune the settings until the aids are minimally intrusive, and adapt as a driver in a modern car.
Twenty years without an accidnent is good attention and careful driving. If everybody was attentive the nanny packages would not be needed. But with cell phones and all people dont pay attention.

I am waiting on my truck to arrive. Glad the blis only has a light in the mirror and doesn’t beep. I live in heavily congested Central Florida and a frequent beeping from passing vehicles would drive me nuts.

Time for some folks to get over themselves.

This is wrong, with Co-Pilot360 Cross-Traffic will warn you with an loud alert sound and show in both the mirror and the backup camera view which way the cross-traffic is coming from.

True
Yes, I should have said there IS beeping for cross traffic. There is NO beeping for stationary objects like the OP was referring to........"when a wall or whatever is close".

The Maverick has three systems: blind spot, cross traffic, and parking aid. Blind spot and cross traffic are part of Co-Pilot 360. Blind spot only works above 30 mpg and has no audible warning. Cross traffic and parking aid work in reverse, and have audible warnings.

So I'm a bit lost and need clarification. I've ordered a hybrid, Lariat with Lux package and it has the CoPilot.

If I use a turn signal, planning to switch lanes, if someone is in my blind spot will it beep? I get the light in the mirror. Also, will I have a beep when backing up if I get close to an object? I am I to also understand that if someone (person or vehicle) is in the cross traffic sensor it will beep?

Thanks!

When blind spot information system detects a vehicle, an alert indicator illuminates in the exterior mirror on the side the approaching vehicle is coming from. If you turn the turn signal on for that side of your vehicle, the alert indicator flashes, no audible.
Cross traffic alert detects vehicles that approach at a speed between 4–37 mph.

Thanks for clarifying this! I do wish it had a beep. Not for every instance, but if a vehicle gets too close beside you or is coming REALLY fast so that you don't move over and then either get clobbered or honked at. LOL
