Galaxy S23... but I also had it on my S21. It's part of the the latest Andros OS updates.I've owned pretty much every android phone manufacturers phones. Galaxy, Pixel, Moto, you name it. I've never seen that feature. Unless it's called something that doesn't compute in my head.
As for how I know it's because in order to maintain battery health the experts recommend never charging past 80%. But plugged in on a few hour trip I'm at 100% within an hour or so.
I like the aawireless dongle because you can disable the auto connect with the companion app. This feature makes it so the dongle only connects to your phone when you start the truck instead of it connecting each time you open the door.On longer trips I find I'm overcharging my phone. Considering a dongle. But also... has anyone considered doctoring a usb cable so it connects but doesn't charge?
On a side note: I"ve always thought there should be an app that limits charging to a percentage. So, you go to sleep but first plug your phone in, but you set it so when it reaches 80% it stops charging or something like that. Seems like something you could create easily and sell widely.
Where to buy and how much is the cost?I've been using the Motorola A1 for over a year, works great
Yes, they all utilize Wi-Fi as the bridge for the screen data. Bluetooth doesn't have the bandwidth necessary.Just received my dongle, all seems to work fine. No lag, etc. Here's my question though, do all these dongles work through Wi-Fi? It feels weird that when I get to my garage I'm not automatically connected to my house. the Wi-Fi on my phone is being used to connect Android auto wirelessly. Is this just cuz I bought a cheap one or are all the dongles like this?

Thankyou for that, never saw that before. My Samsung Ultra S23 has it...

When I first setup my phone it recommended I set it at 85%. Said battery would last longer. Some phones do have a setting like that. Mine allows me to set it to 85% max charge.
As far as the wireless AA dongle, I'm not sure. I came here to look at recommendations lol.
Do you happen to recall what the name of that setting was or could show it? I didn't see anything that obviously stood out for that purpose.I like the aawireless dongle because you can disable the auto connect with the companion app. This feature makes it so the dongle only connects to your phone when you start the truck instead of it connecting each time you open the door.

Because the mavericks usb outlet remains powered on upon turning off the engine, it will take a few minutes before the usb outlet's power times out, or you walk far away enough to weaken the signal causing your phone to switch to your home wifi's stronger signal, regardless of dongle brand.Just received my dongle, all seems to work fine.
