I think if you had read it (see below), you probably wouldn't be worried about highlighting.

Apparently [connecting using Bluetooth] is part of the setup process, but not part of the normal running process after initial setup.

It's rectangle and it's sold out on Amazon..You'll have to look elsewhere. It slides into the slot where the wireless charger would be if you have Lariat LUX. For reference my phone is a Note 20 Ultra and it is the exact size of my phone

I posted this Q in another thread - what happens when a second phone is plugged into the other port (like if the passenger wants to charge their phone)? Will the second phone override the AA/Carplay hookup?

I plugged my wife's android phone into the other port . It just charged it no problems my phone kept working.

Thanks. I actually ordered it an hour or so ago and the order was processed normally. Now when I go back to the page it is "Currently Unavailable." Maybe I got the last one. Or maybe my order won't really go through. We'll see.

But thanks for the info. At least I know what I want to track down. And your phone is almost exactly the same size (about 2 mm larger in both directions) as my Note 9 so it should fit perfectly.

No, the dongle is communicating with your phone over WiFi. Bluetooth doesn't have the data transmission for Android Auto so it uses WiFi.

Sorry. Don't know. It seems unlikely, but someone who has one could answer better.

I have a old Samsung, the battery will run down while running wired aa for navigation in about 3 hrs

Anybody know how long the battery will last in a new phone while using aa wireless?

Note: I can't remember if our Lariat with lux will have wireless charging.

Just installed AA Wireless dongle. It works great. Automatically connects my phone to android auto wirelessly. Setup was easy. Automatically start android auto on my phone . I double-sided taped it out of the way. I will use and keep the thread updated . I also have the new Ottocast for android auto coming this week . Will give an update when I get i.

Update still working great. If I remote start my car by the time I get in it the connection is instantaneous.

thanks for the update. on amazon there is some down facing cords if you want some more cleaner look
