We have a Roadmaster setup the installer included a power line that ties into the Maverick power stud so we don’t have to start the Maverick every six hours worked great on our recent trip.
That is not the reason for the 6 hour startup that runs fluids through the powertrain. I have a charge-wire as well, but still religiously follow the directions if I end up with a longer than 6 hour drive in a day.

The purpose of a neutral tow is to disengage the drive train from the differential I’ve been towing Ford Sport Trac’s since 2003 with electronic neutral tow that did just that. I’m not disputing what you’re saying about lubricating but where I have issues is the 6 hours if the components are disengaged during the 6 hours why do you need to lubricate them. I’ve never owned a hybrid but what you’re saying doesn’t make sense.
I’ve reached out to Ford to get their reasoning and explanation for the instructions.

Please do let us know if you get a good answer from Ford. I'd love to hear their reasoning. I just follow their instructions as they really weren't unusual. This 6 hour/300 mile limit was the same for my old 1999 Honda CR-V that I towed way-back-when. More recently, my 2013 and my 2017 C-Max hybrids (also with charge wires) instructed to do the same. The only vehicles that haven't seemed to have that limitation were ones with mechanical transfer cases (Jeep Wrangler) or a driveshaft disconnect (2003 S-10).

Hybrid Maverick and the Cmax predecessors have nothing in common with the Sport Trac. It has a separate transfer case that when disengaged won't allow the transmission to turn at all. The parts that turn in the transfer case, like the differentials, are self lubricating in motion.
The eCVT apparently is not fully self lubricating when being flat towed. And these components, especially the planetary gear set, do turn while flat towing in "neutral tow". My Jeep Wrangler simply needed the transfer case put in neutral. NOTHING else but the emergency brake being released mattered! Run 85 mph for 12 hours if you want. But the Hybrid Maverick apparently needs to have the engine running and transmission shifted every so many hours to keep it happy. Which isn't much of a problem at all.

Bluox type bar and patriot 2 brake and within 90 minutes the brake loses power and the truck battery is dead. How are you running power to your brake? We had the charge line installed too.
I run the exact setup with the same issue. The 12v port in the maverick goes dead after about 30” causing the braking system to alert that the vehicle battery is dead. The answer for us was to install a dedicated 12v port that is live all the time. No issues since!

2000 mile round trip to Key West for the month of March. Easy tow and set up. Hauled 2 Lectric bikes, kayak and 6 hp Suzuki outboard along with numerous other things in the truck. RVi brake system, Blue Ox tow bar which I already had from our previous CRV toad.
I used the diode wiring harness that splices into the Maverick wiring. Easy job.

Can you give more details of what Maverick you have?
