Anyone else get this letter. Should I be optimistic?

I ordered October 15th. EcoBoost, Lariat, Lux, 4x, tow, all options, fully loaded. after 5 months of no word, I was worried my order may not even exist even though I got my confirmation. after talks of being pushed to MY 23 I got this letter last week. first I have heard from Ford. So I like that my order actually exists. Has anyone else received this letter? Should I take it as hope that I will actually get my truck in MY22?

There is absolutely no way Ford would remove an option from an order. Either your dealer removed it without telling you or the order was not submitted correctly from the beginning.

Same situation for me. It was nice to know I had an order also and still in line at least.
So over joyed, I made it my flag...see...see.

It galled me paying the markup but I found. My truck by searching. one thing that would make the markup palatable would be the dealer offering accessories for cost. there is a 100% markup on that stuff. When I worked at a Ford dealer my disc was dealer cos plus 10%. There is no good reason to not do that. I tried getting the dealer to give me a break on some things I wanted for the truck. All I heard from them was the sound of cricket. The salesmen can do that if they want. They would just be buying something in their name and it would not affect their commission.
