I have a friend that buys lots of stuff from Temu. Most of it is crap. Pay close attention to the description or you might get a “pocketknife” an inch long. Or a spinning reel the size of a coffee can.

I think TEMU is a Chinese company that knocks off American products and cheaply produces them. I've talked to some people that love it, but I've heard a lot of it is crap too.

I mean, when they sell stuff for a tenth of what you'd pay elsewhere, is it really going to be high quality?

I admit to making purchases from both Temu and AliExpress. Most items have been under $10, an engine compartment LED light kit, an under the lip of the hood LED strip, MPH HUD, etc. The most expensive items I have purchased is two dash cams for under $20 each. I exchanged one. The current ones are working fine. Don’t expect instructions that make much sense. I would suggest making an initial purchase of what you are looking for to test. They have been extremely open to returns and refunds for any request I have made. Often, depending on the price, they refund the purchase and say just keep the product.

Just a note - I have found a number of items on Temu’s site actually a little cheaper being sold by individuals on eBay.

Temu = actual modern day slave labor. Whole communities live in prisons that they are likely never to leave. If they want food they do everything from picking cotton to making fog lights apparently. There is no pay, only the stick if they get out of line.
