Has anyone heard anything about possibly getting a performance pack like the Ranger did? I know the Bronco just got one. Can't see why we wouldn't.

Not sure if it matters, but I don't think the Bronco has a 2.0 motor option. If they do end up making one for our motor, I'm sure plenty folks would be interested though.

Oh I know different engines. I'm just thinking if they developed and are selling one for the Bronco, Mav shouldn't be that far off.

It'd be cool if they did. The 2.0 EB has been used in other Fords like the Fusion/MKZ, Escape, Bronco Sport, etc. But one thing that has fallen to the wayside (I think I can count on one hand the reviewers who have mentioned this) is that this motor was also in the Focus ST. As I used to own one, I can tell you that there is a decent amount of aftermarket support for this specific motor. I have not tried, but I'm taking a bet that a lot of aftermarket parts for a Focus ST should swap directly into the Maverick too. There's Cobb, Mountune, Steeda, Ford Performance itself, and others.

Wont see anything until a year after the ST(or whatever it is called) hits the streets. We know they developed something with dual exhaust and a body kit. Hopefully it get some extra marbles too. But it would not make sense to sell that that tune before the sell you on the whole vehicle. I really hope Ford realizes that people can an will want to tune and build these specifically because they are cheap. Out of the box they beat every Fox body made that wasnt a track car with plates. The fancy rear is bolt in, the motor is shared, suspension is partially shared, the body is highly customizable. Tunes, turbos, transmissions, axles, suspension, exhaust, intakes, all sellable performance mods.

Since the Tremor came out at the end of summer, I bet the ST will come out at the end of winter, since it was spied several months after the Tremor was spied. Also another reason why they would have shut order banks down. Dont want to sell over you annual capacity before your expensive performance trim is even available.

Makes sense?

Cylinder bore and crank stroke is 100% the same between both gen EB engines.. But with the forged steel crank and powder forged steel rods, i wonder what the limited factor of the aluminum pistons is.. also curious to know how different things like cams are between the two. i tried to cross reference the part numbers in our system but ford does a real good job making then super similar with only a letter/number or 2 off. On the diagrams, alot looks similar between the ST/RS/Mav engines.. if anyone wants part numbers or diagrams for anything just shoot me a message! i have full access to whatever. ;) ;)

Plenty of other tune options out there. Ford takes forever on those vehicles they decide to offer them for.

Kind of funny, when I first looked under the hood of an EB Mav, if you hadn't told me otherwise, I thought I would've been looking under the hood of a Focus ST 😂 literally looks exactly the same, only it's missing the plastic engine cover. Now that IS something I've thought about, pulling the engine cover off a salvage ST and putting a Maverick logo or something on it. It should button right up onto there.

A Ford tune that keeps warranty intact is what I am waiting for.

I've taken plenty of tuned vehicles in for warranty with no issues.

Yes, but I’ve also seen some Fords deny repair and coverage and blame other companies parts and tunes. I rather play it safe.

I know it’s not what you guys are talking about, but I have ordered the K&N air filter to put on mine whenever I get it.

I believe on performance packs, Ford uses a K&N intake filter typically

I understand. I'm not that worried about warranties. My Mustang Installed a Supercharger within 2,500 miles. I wasn't going to bring it to Ford for anything anyway. Pay to play. If it breaks it goes back stronger. Went from 460HP to over 1,000 with no issues yet. But it goes now. LOL.
