Don't buy that. Find a reputable exhaust shop near you and have them fabricate and weld you in a new cat back system. The exhaust on these trucks is so simple, a shop should be able to do it for 4-5 hundred with any muffler and tip you choose, in stainless as well.

I initially considered this cat-back, but it still routes underneath the rear diff like the stocker, which I just don't like. I ended up getting the AFE Rebel side exit. Fitment is a bit fiddly to get the tips to sit right, but quality is great. It's loud, but not LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, it sounds decent, and I love the look.

I had the M5200MVB installed on Friday at the shop that's been working on my race cars for years. From the time we put the Maverick on the lift to me driving it off and on a test drive was 17 minutes.
So quick they didn't charge me for the installation (yes, I do a LOT of business with them).
The instructions you can download here spelled it out and made it easy.
Instructions: 2022-2025 MAVERICK 2.0L SPORT EXHAUST - BLACK:

I bought it with the 20% discount, so with the no cost installation it worked out well.

Sound: Warm idle with the OEM exhaust read 39db with my phone in my hands by the steering wheel, front windows rolled down. With the new exhaust the warm idle is only 1 dB louder, 40 dB.
That's warm idle. Cold idle the Ford Performance sport exhaust is a lot louder than the oem exhaust. But that only lasts until the engine warms up. By the time you've driven a mile the idle sound is very nice.
Full throttle, the sport exhaust is quite a bit louder than stock, as you would expect.
Highway done. A little louder than oem, but not really noticeable. Especially with the radio on, I don't hear it.
So far I am pleased with the new sound. I like the deeper tone! It doesn't sound ricer, more like a Magnaflow usually sounds.
Longer term we will see how it grows on me or not. I've stored the oem system just in case I want to go back.

Hi all, I'm new and want a catback.
Do you have a sound clip of this exhaust? So far I'm leaning towards AFE

I agree about going to a custom muffler shop.
But with my Mav having less than 1000 miles I'd rather get the Ford product and have the dealer install it to try to preserve the warranty. Other wise I'd wait till the warranty expired and then change it.

A local Ford dealer installed the black-tip side-exit Ford Performance Exhaust on my 2025 Maverick Lobo. I had to double check it for exhaust leaks afterwards because it's obnoxiously loud for a daily driver.

I know it's made by Borla and comparing the Borla to the Ford version, the Ford version has a much larger muffler. I've heard a 25 Lariat with the Borla next to mine, and they're both equally loud to my ear. Cold start angers the neighbors - it's louder than my GR86 with full 3" header-back exhaust, and that's saying something because those are known for loud cold starts.

I'm replacing the Ford Performance Exhaust with a Magnaflow black-tipped side-exit cat-back today, so I'll follow up with a comparison.

Keeping my Maverick 100% Factory Ford appeals to me for some unknown reason.

For those wanting a loud exhaust, I'll be selling the Ford Performance cat-back for cheap - I'll link to the post.
Don't suppose you have a sound clip?
