I love Carbonized Gray, but have heard that it is a dust/dirt magnet and requires cleaning often!
So for the owners of CG, have you noticed this?
For everyone else, what color hides dirt the best?
Had a focus and currently an escape both CG. Great color and it looks great. Minor complaint is water spots, but great color.

I ordered carbonized gray, so hope it isn't a lot of trouble as far as looking clean :)

Of vehicles I've owned, black and white have been the ones that always seemed to look dirty. Silver and blue the ones that dirt wasn't not so much noticed. Shades of tan'ish color I would think would be the same.

I thought seriously about ordering the Maverick in sliver but just liked the in-between Silver and black look of the carbonized gray.
You’ll love it. Wax it up.

Added up the DIY ‘Spray It’ car washes since November (4), including the post Christmas Eve ‘salt magnet’ run to Michigan pictured.

Yes, the hard roll-up tonneau leaks a bit, as expected, but she looks good afterwards glistening wet…

Interior gets vacuumed and floor mats scrubbed and sprayed a bit more often.

Yep, also this lol. And I live in Montana... so it's wash, drive home, dust and de-bug again and by morning when I'm ready to drive there is another layer lol.

I won't let it defeat me!

Must... Have... A clean... Truck.
I have Alto blue. Love the color but it shows everything. It looks black 50 percent of the time so that makes sense that it always looks dirty.

Seeing carbonized gray in person on a Maverick convinced me to change my order to the color. It looks fantastic.
Yes DeeZee, I love the color too. This video shows Carb Gray in different light, ranging from gray to silver to bright gold. In fact, it rarely looks gray. It hides dirt much better than black, blue, or white.

I just ordered iconic silver because I liked the way it contrasted the dark trim but it was a tough decision. I was back and forth on the CG too.

The darker the color, the more dirt shows. Simple as that.
Growing up my dad had a thing about buying black station wagons. Only black. Guess what I spent my entire childhood doing? I'm a fairly expert car washer now....and I NEVER buy black cars!

Confession of an 18 month owner (previous) of a CarbGray: I kept checking it to see if it was dirty so I could wash it. I only washed it maybe 6 times during 18 months. No it doesn’t show dirt much!

I washed mine the other day (Oxford White) and I swear there is something weird with this paint. Especially on the front bumper. I have some kind of staining issue. It took quite a bit of work to get the front bumper clean and there is one small area where I could not get it clean. It's almost like something behind the paint but I know it wasn't there when I bought it (April 2023). I'm a little concerned about having to get the front bumper painted in the future if that keeps up.

I got the BAP, compared to the glossy black on the mirror caps and front grill the grey hides the dirt and water spots much better. Only issue I've had is with crushed granite driveways, the blueish dust that gets kicked up sticks out quite a bit, usually do a quick wipe-down with Turtle Wax ceramic 3-in-one detailer when I get back home between washes.

Exactly.
The CG is a beautiful color but it’s pretty dark.

White hides dust and dirt better than any other color.
I wash my cars a lot no matter what color they are.
A white car will look clean but when you hose it off it will look like ink is running off the paint.

I'm finding the silver to not show as much when it's dirty..........mine is due for a good wash/wax now
