I personally know of two who have not purchased maverick because of crew cab and short bed. I could personally handle one also 6-9" narrower and 10-12" storage behind front row seats with 6'5" bed. That would be an awesome combo. I think they could at least offer the XL as is with the 1.5 engine. Just make it so it can't even be optioned with a hitch and they'd be a great around town work rig. If they offered it with single cab and longer bed I'd be first in line to order.
So, what have they bought instead?I personally know of two who have not purchased maverick because of crew cab and short bed.
I'm happy with my 23 XL and the options I added, one of them being the manual sliding rear window. I was hoping the power sliding window would be available for the lower trims for 24 but see it's only on the Lariat. I like the rear parking sensors also only on the Lariat. The only things I don't like on the Lariat are the brown seats and the $36,000 price.Anyone happy with their truck but thinking of ordering the 24 weather they will take it or not??? One guy refurbished an S10 (cost more than maverick XLT ), the other had a manual shift jeep with a small trailer. The jeep was given recently to grandson and he currently has a Hyundai Elantra. I personally sold my Chevy luv in 92 and lived without pickup until I bought a Frontier in 2018 (was flex fuel and got several mpg better on E85).So, what have they bought instead?

yep, we live in LA and that moonroof gets opened almost every day.No hype, just personal preference. to each their own.
That was one of the reasons I nearly went with an access cab Tacoma instead. In the end MPG and price win out over a slight decrease in functionality. I could go for a super cab Maverick with a 6'5" bed as well. If my sideline business picks up anymore and the Maverick becomes strictly a work rig I'll be removing the rear seat for storage.I personally know of two who have not purchased maverick because of crew cab and short bed. I get it! I love my 1st edition! Not me, I bought my CO XLT AWD SIBL BAP IN April and plan on keeping it for the long haul. Mine has the now discontinued keypad and plan on keeping it.
We're so glad you're enjoying your Maverick, TIm!Love my '22 Maverick XLT. Just preordered a '24 Maverick yesterday, exact same truck. Kind of a gamble, but I may just keep both. I've made worse investments.
