Nope. Transaction costs are so high between the tax and registration that you're unlikely to make anything. Add the price increases on top of that and it's a massive gamble.

count me in the current owner group who is planning a '24 order. But... i'm terribly conflicted about it. i am 1 of those people that really would like a sunroof and my '23 Larait Alto Blue Hybrid abandoned order didnt come with a sunroof or the 360 assist package but i purchased it anyway. so now i have to decide if i want to accept the compromises that Ford has announced for the '24 MY just to get my roof or do i just keep a vehicle that i really do enjoy? and i cant order it in alto Blue anymore. also i HATE the deletion of the keypad! just why?

Hmmm, since they came out many folks have made $4-8k or better. The ones willing to let go that is

I've had many sun roofs. Not sure of the hype? I only use mine a few times a year, spring and fall

No hype, just personal preference. to each their own.

Mine is rarely open. I like it because it brings more light into the cabin in the dreary PNW winters.

Was it worth the $1000 or whatever it cost? Probably not. But neither is a new vehicle at MSRP. 😂

It is for those that crave a convertible but it is either not in their budget or not practical to have with a family. My kids love riding in my Mav with the moonroof and back window open.

I have a 2022 XLT in Alto blue with the luxury package, FX4, and CP360. I don't have 4k tow. So, if I order for 2024 I will be giving up the color, FX4 without 4k tow, the keypad, and heated windshield wiper deicer. I'm considering it, but I'm not decided as of yet. I love my truck so waiting until 2025 to see what changes is probably how I will end up going.

Then get a Jeep Wrangler (or Bronco) soft top and take it off. You'll never get the kids out.

Again, not practical, not as good gas millage, and there is no cargo space for hauling stuff.

I bought a '22 off the lot. Love it but it's missing a few things I want. Have a '23 order that'll likely roll over. As long as I can do the sell/buy and not lose more than a grand (I'm OK to spend $1,000 to drive a truck for over a year) I'll get the 2024.

Yes, I'm planning on ordering a '24. I never realized how much I would miss the push to start button, or power seats. Unfortunately, I have to go up to a Lariat in order to get the PTS, so the up-charge is going to hurt a bit.

Oh well, it's only money. HRG
