I was told by my dealer a wait time of 8 weeks...in November of 2021. It's in the process now of being cancelled. Take what your dealer says with a grain of salt. Same with a Ford email... My 1st build date was early October 2022.
Today is my One Year Anniversary since I ordered my 2022XLT. It has only been two months since I was forced to allow Ford to convert my order to a 2023 for more money. I still do not have a VIN. I do have an email from Ford saying they will be better at keeping me informed in the future. I'd rather they were better at it right now. I am starting to feel even more foolish.
My dealer mixed my order number with a 2022. She text me Monday stating I was the only one that received a VIN. Ford website couldn't pull up the tracking info. I called and they told me my order number had two Mavericks. Smdh. A 2022 and a 2023. The 2022 was due to be built 01/09. When I called the dealership the next day, she apologized and didn't know how they got mixed up. The 2022 was an ecoboost. I was so disappointed.
Congratulations!I have a shipment date! I ordered my Pepper Red Lariat Hybrid with sunroof, FP360, and remote start and just found out on Sunday that I have a shipment date. I've waited for a couple months and it'll be here Thursday, November 3rd! I'm talking about the dining room table, bench, and chairs I ordered from Nebraska Furniture Mart. I mean, I know I'm in for a frustrating wait for my Maverick so I'm just going to chalk this up as a win and move on.
Friggin mess. You get these teasers and then the bottom drops out. I got 5 scheduled dates, confusing but it felt like progress and after a year it was, at least, something. Then I got canceled.
Hope you all, especially you MY22 rollovers, get that lucky Ford email soon and have a Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas ahead Love the positive comment. A nice break from the doom and gloom comments that you reference. Definitely a strong correlation between some users who were part of the small group of canceled 22s and a lot of the irrationally negative posts. I get that they are upset, but so many of them seemed to lose all common sense and be in denial that for most, it goes rather smoothly. My favorite one was the people insisting that "most orders will take over a year to be built"- like that is mathematically impossible and just obnoxiously ignorant.All these MY 23's Hybrid AND Eco, getting scheduled so early is very encouraging! Ford seems to being doing a much better job this go around so far unlike most of the negative posts predicted for months here.They had me so worried I had to stop reading some peoples posts bc it was just negative speculation anyway and I chose to remain positive over the stress. I am hoping the MY22 gets worked out soon for you guys waiting but it looks like some of those are getting resolved too so try to hang in there and keep your hopes up. I ordered a XL Hybrid 9/16/22. Im not in a hurry for mine at all and can wait literally until Nov or Dec of 23 so I am not at all worried about mine. I started as a priority 19 at ordering and messaged Ford today and I am now a 11. At least we know they are really trying, things are moving along and I have faith that Ford is in a much better shape now than during the pandemic to get all of us our trucks
