Similar to Cherokee, I drove my 2024 off the lot on 12/27/24 and have had zero recalls.
4,300 miles and I’m about to have my first oil & lube service done.
Loving my Maverick.
You didn't get the backup camera recall?? Or was that only for Hybrids? Mine was an August 2024 drive off for my XLT and I did get the camera/audio screen recall.

Mine is a 2024 Lariat. As far as I know, No Lariats were included in the backup camera recall. I have run the VIN thru the recall checker a few times and nothing pertains to mine.

Took mine in for the recall they claim they did an update on it, just started Freezing up again about 3 days ago.
I have a service appointment set next week.

I've noticed that SOME recalls we've had at the dealership lately were because some technicians did the original recall incorrectly. Not sure about this one yet. But that's sometimes true with software updates. Sometimes a tech may not have followed a specific sequence, software didn't download properly. The rear camera recall involves a few unique steps. I remember doing one twice because I thought I might have missed a step, So I see how a tech that's in a hurry could have missed something. Maybe that's what happened with yours. Also. Your vehicle could actually have another problem with the SYNC 3 system. Haven't seen many with the Maverick. But it's possible.

Click-bait of existing recall from earlier this year.

Ford has done several re-announcements of several recalls with the numbers that haven't done it yet.

Not news.

Neither with Ford having recalls.
Neither with people not wanting to do recalls.
Neither with people not receiving the info to know there are recalls.
Ford keeps sending me recall notices. Just got another for the backup camera and the instrument cluster illumination. I have not had any symptoms of any recall that were mailed out. I have not had any of them performed. If it's not broken don't fix it. I got my 23 xlt hybrid on October 19 2023. Only have a little over 8,000 miles on it. If I have issues with the recall items thats when I will take it to the dealer. My only issue is the lack of dome lights if I don't drive it enough.

I suggest getting the recall done even if not experiencing symptoms for one reason: liability in the case something goes wrong. Years ago Ford had a cruise control deactivation sensor recalled because it could get wet with brake fluid and cause a short circuit and fire. We had a customer come in with a problem with his fuse box. Turns out that it was caused by the faulty switch. Normally for will pay for related damage that's caused by a failed recall part if we contact them and explain the situation. In THIS case they asked the customer's current address to see if it matched what was in their database. It matched. Ford stated that the related was NOT covered because they sent THREE recall notices to that address. If the addresses had not matched, they would have covered the repairs because he could have claimed to not have gotten the notices. But because he'd ignored them, it was on him. They'd only pay for the recall itself but not related damage. So if a malfunction occurs that causes any negative consequences because you didn't have the recalls performed, they would not be liable if they mailed you multiple notices. With the Brake aforementioned cruise switch recall, another customer's vehicle caught fire and damaged his house. Ford covered the damage because the customer had not received the notice

Since NHTSA gave the rearview camera recalls different campaign numbers it is safe to say that these are two different recalls affecting the rearview camera.

Often a second recall is issued that covers vehicles that were not included in the first recall but are later found to have the same or similar issue. Other times it includes a smaller number of vehicles that had the first recall performed. But the recall may not have been done correctly. Example: the procedure wasn't properly followed. Or the software was found to have a glitch I told

My rear camera view froze for the first time a few days ago, in my 24 Tremor XLT. Right in the middle of backing up. I had the previous camera recall done. Prior to that, it would sometimes be jittery, like it was lagging some, but this is the first time it froze.

It was like the whole system froze. It stayed on the frozen display and didn't play music until I pulled over a few minutes later and restarted the truck.

I have read after having recalls performed people experienced issues with their Maverick. The sudden loss of power while driving down the road. They had to somehow get off the road or could of been crashed into. After restart they had check engine light warnings. These are documented on NHTSB site if you don't believe me.
So no thanks. I don't need issuses cropping up after having recalls performed. Will it happen? Who knows but is not worth finding out. If my dash lights go out I have a GPS to monitor my speed before taking to get repaired. I can check my turnsignals to make sure they work. I can use my mirrors and turn my head to look while backing up like people did before rearview cameras were invented. Not every Maverick will experience issues needing the recalls. Mine has been flawless except for the deep sleep issue. Always starts just no lights when opening the door. Will buy a AGM when mine craps out if it is out of warranty.
