I know there are other Posts about these lights - regarding the water/moisture issue, so I'll keep it short and sweet.
I bought these for 50% off on Amazon. I figured they were may be a Return or old stock if a newer version was made..
** I did find 1 of them already had some 'attempt' at using black sealant on 1 edge of it (probably a return unit)..
I scraped it all off..
Concerned about the moisture/water issue from reading the other posts I took the plastic trim pieces off these to get a good look at the possible points of entry for water.. Pictures here show where I applied clear RTV Silicon - basically all around the outer edges and especially in the 2 holes that screws are used to hold the trim pieces on.. Let them cure for 2 days...
After a week of Florida afternoon thunderstorms and a car wash, there is ZERO water/moisture.. and I like the way the white/yellow contrasts against the Blue Velocity
