Another Cracked Windshield - covered by warranty?

I haven’t paid attention to the numerous posts about cracked windshields, that is until this AM. I awoke to find a 12” crack coming from the top edge to the center. There is no pitting or indication something struck the glass. My question is whether the warranty covers replacement?

Warranty covers manufacture defects, but it would be very hard to prove that. Can you get some good photos of the crack? Sometimes the point where something hit is very small and hard to spot.

What year is yours? The forum should start tracking to see if there is a pattern - maybe ecessive preload on the window during installation. Ford may not tell us but the fleet can/will!

I know the feeling.
Mine didn't crack, it chipped.
