did some searching, but I still need to ask.
Before the recent update to the Ford app, I had a notification of recalls due and service bulletins applicable to my truck. Post recall service, the app updated. Gone are the notices of axle boot replacements.
Does that mean they are no longer offered on my truck? The paperwork from the dealer makes no mention of inspecting the boots so I wonder.

It had a lifespan to it - but probably not that.

You can always go online to Ford's website and specifically check your VIN.

Also, whole half-shaft, not just the CV boot.

My 2024 Maverick Hybrid Passenger side CV joint went bad at 35,000 miles and the Ford Dealer Service Department didn't find it but and outside Car mechanic did! The Dealer Service advisor noted there was no shimmy or issue on acceleration but outside mechanic did. Dealer also said my Michelin Cross Climate were snow tires which they were not. The outside mechanic put truck on a lift and showed me the oil leak on axle and that it was hot which it should not have been. I took pictures of Leak on the axle and showed them to another Ford Dealer Service Advisor who said the vehicle should not be driven. It was serious

DO NOT PUT Full trust in a Dealership Service Department; your vehicle is yours only
