My Maverick auto connects to my phone when the vehicle is running. The problem I'm having is with my phone trying to connect or think it's connected to the truck when not in the truck. My Maverick is normally parked on a car port outside my workshop, and I don't have any issues parked at home.
First instance is when I stayed at an AirBnb, Maverick was parked close to the AirBnb and my cell phone would shut down my cell service to make a call or use data. The andoid auto cell phone app thought I was in the Maverick and driving and should be hands free. I had to shut down WiFi, bluetooth, and manually shut off the Android App on my phone and then reboot the phone in order to regain cell phone use.
Second instance was when I took my wife to the eye doctors to get her eyes dilated. The Maverick was parked right out front. The Phone acted the same way as the first instance.
Anyone else having this issue? I have made sure the Android App is the current one and updated each time I'm notified of and update. Should I report this bug to Android Auto, Ford or both?
