Tried a couple times - found no desire to continue. Not useful to me, even on my BS BL or the Maverick Lariat Tremor

Since the Maverick really doesn't have one pedal driving and the way the auto hold grabs I don't like it at all. I thought I would use it, but nope, it feels like the park brake is grabbing and holding on when it shouldn't be. It is a very unnatural feel so it is turned off and not going to be used.

Same here, I use the 'Hold' feature on my Mazda all the time - operates smothly, but the Maverck seems jerky.

I use it all the time and actually miss it in the work vehicles I use.

I just remember to turn it off when entering a parking garage or going through a car wash.

Makes parking go smoother and avoids the stress as the car wash loads you in.

My exact thoughts. Yet there are many people in this thread that swear that the Maverick's hold feature is smooth as butter and they use it daily. Maybe its their first vehicle with the hold feature? I've had 5 vehicles so far with the hold feature. They all worked great and felt very nataural..... except for the Maverick. So I turned it off and I leave it off.

Agreed, same experience. I have had other vehicles that one pedal type functions and this is the only one that doesn't feel like it functions correctly. I know I have seen some reports here about rear brake pads prematurely wearing on the Maverick. I could swear that it feels like the rear brake is grabbing when pulling away from a stop with the auto hold. I don't know if there is a connection between those two things, but just something that I noted.
