Adding rear parking sensors?

My wife’s SUV has rear sensors and I really like them. To be honest, I thought the CoPilot 360 included the sensors but only get cross traffic. I want to add the sensors and am wondering if the holes in the sub bumper are already there and all I would need to do is cut through the plastic cover of the bumper. Anyone know if they are there?

Watching closely, this is the only thing my XLT doesn't have I would like to add.

No clue on the part numbers, but obviously I know you'll need the four sensors for the rear bumper The module the speaker for it which is located somewhere under the dash usually at least in the other 3 Fords I've owned with the reverse sensors. Also a harness that connects all four sensors to the module and another harness going from the module into the cab to the speaker and maybe another one or the same harness to connect for power.

The maverick uses sonar , not the IR ones your used to seeing. The 2 sonar ones are located behind the bumper at 45deg angles on the corner

Man, I don't think you could be more wrong if you tried.

The common style are ultrasonic sonar (not IR) which the Maverick does use; they're located visibly in the surface of the bumper. On Lariats, 2025 with CP360 (all trims), and rare fleet order that optioned it.

The ones behind the bumper are for the CoPilot 360 BLIS/Cross-traffic detection and are radar.

What are you talking about two, there's a total of four one on each corner near each tail light and 1 to each side of the trailer hitch, for a total of four.

my 23 doesn’t have those, it uses radar on the corners. Must be a new system

No, because you don't have rear parking sensors.

There are many vendors, most work thru dealers, that install rear sensors. Use to cost under $200 installed.
