That's really messed up. See if the dealer will install the radar for you as a courtesy. Tell them you'll take care of the programming.

Same thing here. Waited an extra year for ACC and got screwed over when I told the dealer to copy the order from my '22 and didn't realize I needed to add the ACC separately
In all fairness, the 5 days of ordering was madness. I had looked at the 2022 packages and was initially ordering based on those. The sale rep I am working with was knowledgeable, but also playing catch up with the change of information and flurry of orders. Between the two of us (along with MTC) we figured it out.

I caught the ACC add on in time and adjust my order. Sale rep thanked me for that catch and he contacted others who ordered to help get that fixed.

Am making plan B and C on if the Maverick does not come in for 2023. This November I will know.

Without a doubt it was a mess. But thank goodness adding adaptive is much easier than adding other co-pilot features.

For instance, adding the sensors to the mirrors would be an absolute nightmare.

Theres a whole lot of fear mongering in this thread. Go to the DIY section, we have all this covered already, read it from start to finish. You are in a great position that you have a hybrid. Easiest one of them all to install it in, including the lane assistance stuff that you will need.

Don't be discouraged if you have an Ecoboost. I have had it on mine close to 20k miles now. It's been so good that I have started accumulating the parts I will need for adding the Electric brake booster. I only have about 8k miles until I am out of warranty so that's when I am putting the EBB and the Corsair turbo on it.
