Ok, exactly what percentage of your driving could possibly include ACC? 5%?

Then sell the truck.

I have ACC on 4 of my vehicles, it’s a no-op including 400 mile trips..

.
This is my first vehicle with ACC...and it seems strange to me to rely on a piece of electronics to slow you down as you approach a vehicle instead of paying attention and actually driving your vehicle. You're still gonna be at fault if it fails and you cause an accident.

I've already experienced an idiot in a Tesla about killing us by not doing his own driving. YOU'RE the one with the driver's license, not the car.

Mine is on at least 30% of the time.
I'm well over 50% because I always use mine on work trips and I've taken a few long drives for club soccer and vacations. I'm on track for 30k miles this year.

It's a significant difference in fatigue driving 2+ hours let alone 6+. Best feature isn't radar cruise, for me it's lane centering because it will steer into crosswinds.

There is a thread here to hack ACC onto a truck and I've always thought it crazy...but if you have Lariat with cp360 it's a lot less crazy than adding it to an XLT. Still, no dealership would do this and no warranty will cover it.

I had the same problem on my order. It was all included on my first order package, but they changed it to a 23 and I was under the impression that the adaptive cruise control was still in the new package, but when it was delivered, I about ran over a car in front of me because I thought it would slow down.
I think what ended up happening is Ford took some stuff out of the either the Lariat or Lux and made them standalone options. Supposedly it was to streamline manufacturing and pump them out sooner.

I hear about that when they rolled my order from the 22' to a 23'. I ended up calling the dealership and we literally compared line by line what had been removed and the guy modified the order to include everything that was removed.

I added it to my XLT with CP360. The modification would be functionally the same for a lariat without CP360 assist, or any trim/options really. It just changes some of the programming codes, but all Mavericks have the lane centering camera, computer, and software. To get ACC you just have to add the radar sensor and wheel buttons.

Update: call from dealer.
My original email request order had the correct request for setting up 360tm but sales order deleted it by error.

I had a chance to double check the total order but missed the salesman error.

Love the salesman from past business but damn my lack of double checking the final order.

I may be selling my 2023
Similar thing happened to me. I asked for it but that was from the 2022 website list of options. On 9/22/22, the 2023 website wasn't up yet and Ford changed the packages. I might order a 2024 and sell this one to get it and hopefully AWD too.

Omg I don't know how some people can drive. Let's see there is a car in front of me what shall I do. Per haps tap brake. Use foot on gas until car is not in my way then hit resume on the cruise? What a concept.

Yeah, I went to see my Larriat with Ford Copilot 360 and the Lariatt Lux package. Surprise, no adaptive cruise! I'll take the truck as I don't want to wait another 6 months. If its that much of a bother, maybe this one gets traded for the Toyota Stout when it shows up.
The Stout is still a rumor.

Yes yes, herp derp, technology bad.

In reality, adaptive cruise and lane centering are blessings on long highway trips. Really cuts down on fatigue and makes driving safer

I am not saying technology is bad I am saying it is not the end of the world. However, If you depend on technology to keep you safe you had better be paying attention yourself when it fails.

Lane-centering is a good feature and I agree, it can add to safety.

Abdicating driving responsibility/decision-making by relying on ACC to slow you down just adds to the removal of the sense of responsibility to drive well.

When last I used mine to see what would happen as I approached a large, slow truck, I saw that it just added to "bunch ups" on the 2-lane highway. It was clear that as an attentive driver, I would have been better off maintaining my original speed and passing quickly, rather than allowing ACC to slow me and make it more difficult for the person behind me.

Have had ACC for 6 years on my RAV4. Would not buy a vehicle without.
Like the old commercial said, "Try it, you'll like it."

There are people that sill rant against disc brakes, radial tires, anti-lock brakes, safety glass and flush toilets.

Received my 2023 Maverick Lux 360 Lariat Hybrid a few weeks ago.

One major need was to have the auto start stop adaptive cruise control.

After reading the manual and inspection no joy for adaptive cruise found.

My front grill on my 2023 also does no show the tell tell black box others have on the 2022.

I wonder if the hybrid fire recall has a grill change or they deleted the adaptive cruise or I am blind/stupid.,,

I left a vm to the dealer but no response yet.

any photos or comments welcomed m
It was part of the 360 pkg on the 22 and I didn’t realize it was an additional option on the 23 so it was not on my original order. Thankfully I read some comments on here and was able to add it to my order along with SIBL when I got a scheduled production date. I just got my window sticker and it shows the 360 Assist package and SIBL so I’m happily awaiting my 23. This forum has saved me money and headaches!

I have the adaptive cruise control on my Caddy, but I don't like it. It always slowed me down behind grandma on the highway, and I'd get stuck having to wait for a chance to get back on the speed train ;

Mine is on 95% of the time for urban traffic driving. First time I’ve had that and would order again. My wife does not have it on her 22 Escape and now regrets it after driving mine. If she’s out the door before me, my Maverick is gone! 😂
