My Lariat has this box behind the grill:

Is this box for the ACC, or something different?

Thx...

Not acc, possibly a bracket. Ford current gen ACC modules look like this.

This is just the non-adaptive cruise control then:

Does the lane assist work with that?

Does the lane assist work with that?
Yes, but the difference is with regular CP360 Lane Keep Assist it only vibrates the steering wheel and can steer you back in lane when you start to cross the lane lines.

With the Lane Centering from having ACC it is (when CC is on) actively steering to maintain a center track in lane.

correct, and yes, you have copilot 360 but you do not have adaptive cruise.

it's been a while, and mine my be slightly different because I do have ACC, but when I bought my truck I think I remember that some of the driver aid settings are split between the drive info panel, which requires you to hit the MENU button on the right side of the wheel, and some other related settings are in the infotainment - I believe under 'vehicle' but browse around and check out all the settings.

lane keeping on/off is your second pic, the slim button sticking out from the end of the stalk.

when it's enabled you get lines the driver panel. green is good, red near/over a detected line, anything else means it can't read lanes and isn't active. it can detect lines in error especially construction zones with old or temporary lane stripes.

alert buzzes the wheel. aid bump-steers you back into the lane a little bit. if you blow over a line, aid probably won't get you back in the lane, you'll have to steer back.

use your turn signal and alert+aid are disabled until your lane change is complete. a lot people don't signal and then come here to complain about the steering wheel buzzing or fighting them when they steer. :cautious:

if you had ACC it will center in the lane and can follow corners, but you don't want to depend on aid to meaningfully steer.

Thx everyone...

As much as I will use the cruise control, once in a blue moon, the traditional one will be just fine, lane centering or not. Just wanted to know what I have...

I have ACC and it was great on a trip. It kept it center in the lane and will follow corners. The only thing I didn't like was if you removed your hand for to long you get the ding ding ding to put your hands back on the wheel.
