Just installed AA Wireless dongle. It works great. Automatically connects my phone to android auto wirelessly. Setup was easy. Automatically start android auto on my phone . I double-sided taped it out of the way. I will use and keep the thread updated . I also have the new Ottocast for android auto coming this week . Will give an update when I get i.

I'm about to order this thing. I just received the wireless charging mat I ordered so I could charge without plugging my phone into anything. Now this dongle is all I need to finish my wireless adventure! Thanks for the info

I have a old Samsung, the battery will run down while running wired aa for navigation in about 3 hrs

Anybody know how long the battery will last in a new phone while using aa wireless?

Note: I can't remember if our Lariat with lux will have wireless charging.

Lariat Lux has wireless charging. No more cables for me.

do you know if it works plugged in to to the usb c slot? I'd like to keep the usb slot open for an mp3 thumb drive. I wish it had usb slots in the center console but what can you do. I ordered an "october delivery" and haven't gotten it yet.

I thought a cable like this, but I really like how OP tucked that underneath and then the cable itself would just block the usb port (I was thinking of the cubby by the screen but OP's set up looks better)

Yes it does. I tried both ports.
