Yup, I see some positive and negative reviews on this and another forum. In fact, I would prefer to have a smart box that can watch videos and use apps, which I think is more valuable to me. Any suggestions are welcome.

Matter of one's choice. I prefer plug-in so I turn off Carplay so Ford Journey can track my drives, and it can only do this when Carplay is turned off. But, I think CarlinKit is an excellent alternative for Bluetooth connection for Carplay.

Radish and greens have their own love. I knew I would hate plugging in my phone especially for those short trips.

I have the motorola ma1 wireless. No issues with it.

It is out if stock usually though. I had luck getting two of them at target.com a few weeks ago. I just checked randomly throughout the day and found them in stock two times different times.

Thanks, I got one. I paid for express shipping and It will arrive in 2 weeks. But I can't wait to use this. I'll let you know about reliability, disconnection issues.

serious post: I’m thinking of just leaving an old iPhone plugged in, I’m guessing for your needs a rooted android could suffice and probably can find an older pixel so you can do what you’re looking to do for the price of some of these dongles. Would still have to use your phone as a hotspot though.

Amazon shows it for 2022 vehicles at $118.90 but over $100 for sure. No thank you for now.

I bought it for $240, I guess the configuration should be different, well, maybe I'm self-comforting.

But it is said that it supports independent 4G sim card
