If you have ANY pop up blockers or ad blockers or Javascript blockers, it usually does not show the chat option. I usually have to open a "Private/Incognito" window where I allow it to load whatever it wants.

I ordered a 2025 hybrid XLT with AWD, 4K towing, Luxury, and spray in bed liner 2 weeks ago. A week later got the confirmation email, then today got the email saying it's scheduled for 12/16.

Here's what worries me though, I'm paying for it in full with cash, but I won't have the cash till after Jan 1. I even told the dealer this and he said it was highly unlikely that it would be ready before Jan 1, especially because the spray in bed liner is one of the add-ons causing delays right now.

Lets say all goes perfectly on schedule and it begins production the week of 12-16 like they say, approximately how long after that would it physically be at the dealer? Also (I realize this sounds like a dumb question but I've never ordered a brand new vehicle like this before), at what point am I supposed to actually pay for it? After its at the dealer?

I didn’t see an answer.
On average it takes 4 weeks to get delivered to me in Western NY. Maybe you be would 1 week sooner; best case.
They are also holding the first bunch for 6 weeks for quality checks.
There should be no way you will see it before Jan 1. You will be fine.

Heads up - Just checked again via Ford Vehicle Order Tracking and my build was postponed a week to 11/18/24. It shows "Last Updated" on 10/16/24. No biggie just sharing in case others were impacted or delayed.

I just got some info that may be useful to everyone here since we're all presumably not getting our trucks till November or later. I was talking with my insurance place I have for home and auto (Erie) and he told me auto insurance is going up across the board at least 20% on Nov 1 and he recommended I use the VIN number to go ahead and sign up for an insurance policy now, even though I won't have the truck till at least January to get a cheaper rate (Erie locks in your auto insurance rate for life - not sure if anyone else does). Might be something some of you wanna look into.

Today, 31 October 2024 @ 7:15pm I went to https://www.ford.com/myaccount/vehicle-order-tracking/status and found that our Maverick scheduled build week has been moved up to 18 November from 2 December.

I wont slam you, but I will 100% guarantee there were multiple dealerships within 4-6 hours of wherever you are in Georgia that would have ordered you one at MSRP. Guaranteed. And if you were willing to drive a bit further (to get back to Georgia), airline tickets are cheap for a one-way, and gas ain't that bad to get you back home in the new truck. But seriously, not judging. Since I am the guy who will be making my second 1,700 mile drive back to Seattle from Kansas.
