Do you think it's because they are suspicious of your comcast.net email address? I didn't know real humans still had a comcast.net email address. Wait. Are you also a Nigerian prince?

Seems like they are not picking up the hybrid engine as much as the ecoboost. But that's just anecdotal based on what I see in the posts here.
Not anecdotal, Ford is scheduling 35% Hybrids and 65% Ecoboosts right now. Confirmed by Long McArthur.

If you look at the Reddit spreadsheet, the ratio is actually 35.0/65.0 right now. Kind of crazy to see how it ended up spot on.

It's almost inverted from what we are seeing of actual orders on this forum.

@Bobinmi pretty amazing that you will someday have a truck with a transmission built by your SO. I mean, that's pretty awesome

Did anyone that was picked-up on the 9-13 or 9-20 order cycles actually order the spray-in bed liner? Or no one did?

Daaaaaaaaaaaang!!! What mojo are you using to get on the schedule so quick? :) Did you have the LUX package in your order? Congrats on getting a build date so quickly!

First Congratulations to all who received production notice today.
My turn to vent, this is what I don't understand maybe you FORD Company folks can help out. How can orders placed in middle to end of July be put into production when confirmed orders from June (some very early in the month) with no delayed add on items (such as paint, mud flaps, spray in bed liner, etc.) on the order not be scheduled for production first?

My local dealership has only had one order picked up and it was an Ecoboost. Unfortunately it wasn't mine. They claim they were given an allocation of 5 in this first run. So, clearly the hybrids are going to be slowly pulled as parts become available. The Ecoboost engine and transmissions seems to be in good supply and this is why they are pulling those in higher quantities. No doubt that Ford misjudged the number of Hybrid orders they would get. I guess if you are in a situation where you cannot wait on the Hybrid you could switch to the Ecoboost and perhaps it will be pulled next week, no guarantee of course.

That’s easy... with just in time manufacturing it depends on how many parts are coming in from suppliers. Some parts, as you stated, are delayed, but some others may be coming in in large quantities and others trickling in. We already know from another forum member who knows someone in the hybrid transmission plant that those are in short supply. I’m sure that Ford has computer programs that analyze incoming parts and compare to orders to create a production schedule.
