I removed the bed cubby airlift compressor from my 2023 and installed in into my 25 AWD. As this is a low volume/ low pressure system, I needed a separate compressor for my tire pump duties. On my 2019 Ranger, I used the high pressure compressor for the suspension duty also, but rigging up the manifold/solenoid/switching just is not worth the trouble, so I went with two separate systems on this Maverick. As others have noted (but I found out after purchase) that the ail lift air bags that are listed for the AWD maverick are absolutely to short and I highly recommend finding the ones that are 1" longer.
Since my wife bought these bags for me for Christmas for the maverick I had on order, I installed them thinking it will work out fine (it didn't). The called for air bags are so short that to get them to expand to a useable length, the pressure in the bags is so high that it makes for a very hard ride. The plastic donut that is supplied for the seat of the bags is also to large of a diameter to sit where it needs to be without modification. My solution was to make a spacer to go under the donuts that raises the seat donut in to proper position and also centers the airbags into the center of the spring seat in the lower control arms. I also had to enlarge the holes in the spacer doughnuts to fit my adaptors.. It was a lot of work, but the system works great now and also rides soft. The reason for the air bags is that I carry about 500lb of tools in the bed ALL the time and much of that weight in closer to the tailgate. Without the airbags, the rear of the truck sits about 1.5" below the stock ride height.

Thanks. Will install similar air bags to solve a slight sag issue. The site lists several varieties of air bags to fit the interior dimensions of the coil springs for those interested in ordering the correct model.

I was thinking of doing rear springs to help with the sag on my truck. What made you go air over springs?

I've been using air springs of one type or another on my trucks for over 20 years, so I guess it's habit. I guess the biggest advantage is adjustability. I've been known to push or exceed the payload ratings on occasion (just short local trips) and the air bag route gives you that flexibility while still maintaining a proper ride height and a smooth ride.

I've installed them on: VW wagon, Prius Prime, Hybrid Sienna. Even under the max payload, they all sag. Air bags help big time.
No compressor though, that setup is more than I could tackle.
Nicely done.

@MarkLally I could use a set of those bottom spacers, if you would be willing to make another set.

Again, sorry. I didn't log any dimensions, I just jotted it down on a post it note, made the parts and threw the paper in the trash.

No problem. Thank you for coming up with a good solution.
