True. But an accident usually results in the authorities being called. Then anything can happen depending on what happened and what the authority decides to do

Not for this. But I know of plenty of homeowners insurance claims that have been denied because people had unlicensed electrical or plumbing done and it went bad. principle’s the same. Noncompliance is noncompliance.
