53Q 4k tow Transmission cooler confirmation

I was questioning why my 4k towing 2025 didnt have the auxiliary transmission cooler.....I was told ford modifys options based on the delivered climate.....region. The dealer looked up my build sheet and the AuX Trans Cooler was checked - "not installed"

That's odd. What region was your Mav delivered? So, they didn't install it because of the region it was being delivered to? They're assuming that the vehicle will never travel to other regions where the extra cooling would be needed?

WISCONSIN. that was the only reason the dealer could think of as to why it wasnt installed. Some notes in parts say different climates

It surprises me that they didn't install it. You paid for it. What if you decide to take a trip to AZ while towing?

No clue. Another post said that in 2025 only the 2.5 hybrid got it.

The explanation you were given sounds like BS. The BOM wouldn't be different for every possible destination in North and South America. I would call Ford and demand in writing if it should or should not have the cooler.

I'm thinking this would be a cause for legal action. Ford should pay for the dealer to install the proper cooler.

I was under the assumption the 4k towing had two transmission coolers. One smaller heat exchanger mounted on the transmission and an air cooled cooler mounted on the front radiator. I checked my new 2025 2.0, awd and I only have the cooler mounted on the transmission.
The 53Q option states...Aux auto Trans cooler.

Not sure were you got this info from but the only document that should be held with any clout is the order guide.

The 2025 XL with 4K tow does not come with an auxiliary trans oil cooler just that is has one.

Not sure what you expect me to do about it. I'm just letting you know that according to the order guide the 4K tow package does not come with an secondary trans cooler.

My 2022 XLT is equipped with the 4K tow package and the order guide from way back then mentions nothing about it. Just that is has a single trans cooler.

Only Hybrid 4K has the auxiliary cooler.

case closed thanks. 2nd dealer just called and said no 2nd cooler for 2025 EB.
