So there is no need to bring up the fact that I cherry picked this MPG. We don't need to bring up that I know that of the 61.4 miles on this trip 59 of them were doing 55 in cruise control on the highway. 🤫

I had a 2015 Focus with the 1.0 turbo and a 6 speed. The Average MPG reset every 10,000 miles. I usually averaged over between 41-42 MPG. It was rated for 40 MPG on the highway. I got close to 50 on the highway if I was by myself. As long as you don't press the gas pedal you can get great gas milage.

This was my 2011 Ford Focus that I was driving while waiting for my Maverick. I was hypermiling that thing like crazy. I was telling myself, who needs a hybrid?

Glad I have the EB 2.0. Mileage is marginally acceptable and it's fun as hell to drive.

I agree. I like the fact I can get good mileage if I am careful but can get on it if I need to.

Our 1.4t jetta is rated at 40mpg highway (33 combined). We'll routinely average mid-50's on longer road trips and 600+ miles on a 14.5 gallon tank combined (>41mpg combined).

I think it's because I live in Maine which has alot of uphill to down hill but I get worse gas mileage when I use cruise control. I'll get around 25 if I am on cruise if not I float between 28 and 30mpg in my 2.0eb maverick.

Well, if we're going to play that game, I once got ~48 mpg out of a 2012 Focus rated for 37-38mpg over >2 hours of highway driving, around 55 mph the whole time. From one gas station to the next.
