Someone local to that dealer ought to test the waters for fun and report back how it really is. IMO that is some BS to get folks in the dealership to get bent over….

At face value it seems too good to be true. We see how dealers work, wonder what the catch is. That likely includes all possible incentives they offer but a person can only qualify for one or two.
Heck sometimes the dealers don't even bother with math.

$29,965 - $24,764 = $5,201 = up to $2,500? Well, yes, the catch is advertising the price with $3,000 "trade assistance".

Ford Maverick $4,750.00 off for Maverick 1758839562492-59

Big volume F-150 dealer that had no Mavericks under MSRP when I purchased my last October.

I think you'll see a lot of great deals on EB models, and decent deals on hybrids too without trying too hard.

Before anyone books a flight to Orlando to get their $4,750 off MSRP on the truck of their choice, read the fine print, because that only applies to the (4) most expensive Mavericks on the lot.

$2,500 of that is a Ford "Retail Customer Cash" incentive that applies only to Lobos. That incentive drops to $1,500 for Lariats and doesn't exist for XL or XLT.

The rest of the discount comes from a "dealer discount" really isn't significantly different than any other dealer in the area. The "Retail Customer Cash" incentive above is available to a lot more dealers that are probably closer to you.

Gotta read the fine print and click on every information button on the website to understand the real price you'll be asked to pay.

Used to be Peacock Ford. They were a huge ripoff, had an insane dealer fee. I don't remember exactly, but it was thousands.

I bought two cars through their predecessor, Don Reid Ford, but I was dealing with fleet sales guys for those. I tried to order a Mustang through the regular sales guys, but the sales manager yelled at me because he didn't like the way I picked options. That made no sense to me, because I was ordering the car and putting down a deposit. Why the hell should he care about how I spec'ed it out? So I got that car somewhere else.
Anyway, I went to Peacock hoping to test drive a Maverick, but the only one they had in stock at the time was a Tremor on the showroom floor, and they wouldn't let me buy it.
I wound up ordering my Maverick through Rush Truck Center, thanks to a contact I had who used to work at Don Reid. I paid full sticker, but there was no markup, no dealer fees, and I got exactly the options I wanted.
