Hey Maverick fans, my 22 Lariat is 3 years old now and will turn 22k miles soon. I still love this vehicle as it does what I had hoped it would do and that was replace a sedan with a way more capable vehicle with suv like manners combined with a touch of truck. My lariat 2.0 AWD has all options excluding the first edition trim. I just heard a battery recall is open for my truck and I’m thinking a new battery is the fix. The timing is nice as AZ heat I’ve been told shortens the lifespan of batteries.
Have fun with your Maverick! šŸ˜Ž

Have same color XLT LUX Ecoboost with 31,000 miles. Other than painless recalls, it's been a reliable utility vehicle. I think you summarized it well. Does what I want it to do. Rides like I want it to ride. Demands no particular attention aside from new tires and 4 free driveway recalls.

I like to say I didn't pay for a Mercedes and I didn't get a Mercedes. But I feel I got significantly more than I paid for.

Still love that hot pepper red every time I see it in the sunshine.

Paying extra for the HPR paint was not an issue.

I’ve got the same type only a 2024. Enjoy it everyday. No real trouble. Easy to drive, ride in and looks great. Keep on truckin’!

mine is still looking like day 1 minus the smell.
I bought my 24 on the last day of 2024, The smell was long gone.
I tried but they wouldn't knock anything off for the missing new smell.

Tom, excellent post. I'm betting the younger ones on here can't name the song, or artist (and his wife) from the line "hotter than a pepper sprout" Great country song!

I think this guy's a snowbird, hehe. I love that color but not in a Tuscon summer and I certainly wouldn't go to Jackson with it either! You're going to Jackson? See if I care!

Nah, no Jackson for me, just having my coffee here in Idaho, getting ready to get out the snowblower. Used to live further up north here. Ran snowblower and a plow about 3-4 times a week. Easy down here near "BoisAngeles" only get a couple inches now and then.
