  1. Lariat Envy?

I like my 22 Lariat with all the available options other than First Edition. I will say though in any temp above 80 the seats become less desirable as they do not breath and wet back conditions arise. I do however love how easy they are to clean with a simple wipe down. I also would forgo the...
  2. 3 years later

Hey Maverick fans, my 22 Lariat is 3 years old now and will turn 22k miles soon. I still love this vehicle as it does what I had hoped it would do and that was replace a sedan with a way more capable vehicle with suv like manners combined with a touch of truck. My lariat 2.0 AWD has all options...
  3. $40K- the new norm?

I paid $36400 for my 22 Lariat 2.0 with all options except First Edition. Tax and license $38K. I wanted a practical option to a sedan and the Maverick with a bed is exactly that. I could have spent less but the Lariat AWD in Hot Pepper Red was the right one for me. I really am jealous of the...
  4. Not seeing Mavericks in the wild... why not? How about your community?

I have seen five here in southeast Wisconsin, 4 XLT and one LX work truck. I've had people comment at gas stations and big box stores. I seem to get a lot of interest from Ram pickup guys, they want to race me, its actually annoying. The thing that recently bummed me was when pulling into BK for...
  5. Driver Door Window Switch Inoperative

So after eating lunch today in my Lariat while listening to the radio in accessory mode I started the truck and headed home. While driving I decided to close the driver window (only window open other than sunroof). The window would not close, none of the other windows would operate from the...
  6. Saw a Maverick up close and it looks small

I'm 6'3 and no issue with leg or head room and i have a sunroof. I will admit i was concerned when ordering my Lariat having never driven a Maverick that legroom (and other general driving things) would not be sufficient. The other concern was that I've always found that power seats seem to have...
  7. Ecoboost Engine Cover Clarification

Glad you got your cover, when I originally ordered my parts from my selling dealer, the parts guy ordered 10 of the passenger stud, lol. I'm like I only need 1 stud! I just installed my Ford molded mud guards yesterday. Not totally thrilled with gap area behind the driver rear tire, (due to the...
  8. Ecoboost Engine Cover Clarification

It’s just unusual for a newer model vehicle not to have a cover. I understand the cost savings goal but it’s just kinda unfinished under the hood and it trips some peoples trigger as it looks like spaghetti. Just my opinion…
  9. Ecoboost Engine Cover Clarification

That’s subjective, I didn’t find it excessively noisy without the cover, however it is quieter with the cover.
  10. Ecoboost Engine Cover Clarification

    Which model did you order?
  11. Ecoboost Engine Cover Clarification

At the very beginning of the thread is the parts list, and yes, these are single part packs. Should be able to get all 3 items for ~$100. Here you go... Cover #K2GZ-6A949-A Pass rear stud #AG9Z-00812-D Driver ball stud #AA5Z-6N958-A
  12. Ecoboost Engine Cover Clarification

All set with the detailed pics. Thanks for getting me up to speed!
  13. Ecoboost Engine Cover Clarification

As I am a newbie I hope my post turns out okay. I have read about some confusion as to the parts required for the Ecoboost engine cover. My pic of the ball stud looks a little sketchy but hopefully it will suffice. The part that seems to give the most trouble is the driver rear ball stud. Use...

The driver side rear ball stud you need is Ford #AA5Z-6N958-A. This makes for a perfect flat fitting engine cover.
