I have been getting the dreaded deep sleep messages, and not seen my dome light come on for a few weeks...I had my battery previously replaced early this year at just about a year old, this new battery barely lasted not even 10 months...Luckily I work at a dealer so not a big time waster for me, but frustrating, thinking I may need to replace the battery every year. I am also getting the 23E09 pcm update done, hope that may help...Will update as I know more...
Is this a common issue with 22 MY? I have a 23 xlt hybrid and feared I would get the dreaded deep sleep so I bought a jumper for my car battery and nothing yet (thank God)

That's good to here. Maybe that's why I haven't had the issue myself. But I do motive thay my truck keeps automatically turning on in it's wifi so I turn it off when I can

2 years ownership, 2 batteries for the hybrid...good times. I've done all the recalls (cable overlay, etc) that would relate to this. Truck even spent 1 week at the dealer to only have engineering department say to just replace the battery at the end when nothing else worked. Feels like it's going to be an annual battery replacement until warranty ends (unless a TSB comes out) and then I'll get around to get a better quality battery. I'm not shelling out for a battery just because Ford can't figure this out

Shouldn't the year old battery that lasted a year have been replaced for free by Ford under the factory 3 year warranty?
All battery replacements have been free and will be free until January of 2025...

Maybe turning off permissions for the Ford App to "only when its in use" could be a solution

It's important to remember that the "Deep Sleep" condition is not a bad thing when it works as intended and only after prolonged vehicle inactivity.

It's when it occurs when the truck is consistently driven and the +12V battery ...should... be properly charged that it's a symptom of an issue... (which appears to be the OP's case and was mine)

Yup, I drive the Maverick almost everyday and I still get Deep Sleep mode, which I believe is related to the battery because as soon as I turn off the truck, the voltage drops down to 12.1v and to 11.9v in a few minutes. I also believe the cold weather is contributing to the voltage drop, so I'll be looking to replace the battery :)

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.
