Recall 25S02 Battery Replacement on the 2022-2024 Model Years

I got the recall notice as well for my 22 Mav. So far I haven’t had any battery issues but the ASS has been intermittent. I haven’t done any of the recalls yet but I am going to call my local Ford dealer tomorrow for an appointment.

While your truck isn’t showing the symptom described by the recall. Since your battery is around 3 years old, the intermittent auto start/stop May Be showing signs of a battery failing from simple old age. So look at this as an opportunity to get a brand new battery FOR FREE. it’s good to get the other safety recalls done at the same time.

Mobile tech came out this morning. The inspection consisted of checking whether or not I had an AGM battery. Since I didn't, I now have one. I suggest everyone affected get this recall done.

It's a great recall given that it's an opportunity to get a brand new battery for free given that many vehicles may be out of warranty and on the verge of needing a new battery anyway.

Went in yesterday for rear camera and battery recall. It’s clear on the Work Order that the battery isn’t tested, flooded batteries are just being swapped out for AGM’s as mentioned earlier in this thread.
Two months after my 3 year warranty expired I get a new AGM! Cool.

Yesterday I got in the mail the 2022-2024 recall notice that battery replacements are now available on my 2022 Ford Maverick 2.0 liter. Anybody else got the recall notice

Yes my 22's battery was replaced. If your Maverick has an Enhanced Flooded Battery they will replace it with an AGM. They actually scheduled a mobile unit to come out to my place of work. It was painless.

Pretty good deal! I got my new battery today free of charge after driving with the original for almost 3 years!!!
