Last night, my engine light came on, but I didn't have my OBD2 scanner with me to check the code, (my kid has it). I drove to work without any issues. However, when I was leaving work to go home, the truck wouldn't start – it was dead. I used my Noco charger to jump-start it and then drove to Canadian Tire to purchase another scanner. The code I found was P2450, (Evaporative Emission System Switching Valve Performance or that it's stuck open). I'm wondering if the battery issue caused this code, or if they are separate problems. Google says wiring/electrical issues can cause the valve to stay open or shut.
p.s. I've had my truck go into limp mode twice, two separate dealers were at a loss for why it went into limp mode.
