My head hurts trying to fathom this battery "problem". I have a '23 XLT that hasn't had any of the problems I see here. Mine was one of the last '23s to be built (before switch to '24). Should I be looking for this?
My guess is your driving is long enough and often enough not to see the issue, I got mine August 17 2023 and until winter about December I had no issue either, . Mine built July 2023.

Thank you for your service. That's most important.

Vilifying science, scientists, and otherwise highly educated people is where I find the next conversational off ramp.

Enjoy retirement.
He's not vilifying anything, just pointing to an uncomfortable truth.
If you truly don't believe who's paying for your study influences outcome- that's just naive.

If you use Fordpass app you won't have to look for anything - you'll be notified.

If you don't get in/out of truck while dark - you likely won't notice lights turning off earlier and earlier.

If no problems seen then you have time to wait.
Curious though - if you do use Fordpass - how's the AT&T cell signal in areas you park the truck?

Not sure about ATT, or are you referring to cell service in general? I have T-Mobil and there is a strong signall locally.

Since the TCU is merely the Tele Communications Unit and not where the Battery Management System functions - no scheme change.
14H076 is part of the part number.

Unless you were getting battery drains overnight, the TCU is probably operating exactly the same as it was, since no updates to it have been a part of any recalls in the past, specifically mentioned, maybe it was updated along with another main module in the past. Wondering if they merely reset it, and then had to reprogram the settings so it would talk to your account again for Fordpass to work.

What probably did happen doing a module reprogram and ACM update for camera - battery charged up.

Give it a month.

Sure enough, it took two months, but the deep-sleep thing hit again. But this time, and thanks to jeffrol48197's post here, I was able to return to the dealer with a tangible / final fix. They 'tested' and sure enough, battery was junk and the applied the SSM-53801. $0.

That's probably a good sign - since the big 3 for cell service generally all share towers.
Some areas due to frequency (Sprint/T-Mobile now), they'll skip sharing a big tower because they need to install a bunch of smaller cells instead for good coverage.

So while a good sign, doesn't guarantee the AT&T signal the truck is using is good where you generally park - and after you park is when initial status upload of data occurs, and then hourly pings to keep the network connection up in case you try to reach it remotely.

I've seen in the cellular world for modems - issues that can arise.
What if signal is bad/non-existent due to network issues - does truck go nuts trying to connect to get a response it's expecting, and leave all systems up until it does? Or best to just time out and try again in an hour?
Cell radios for years have been software upgradeable - of course that's going to happen during least used time period, overnight.

Good news.
Too bad they didn't show the results of the battery test, trying to compile in my memory (probably not the best place) how many of these need to report below 40% to be considered bad, and is that SOC or SOH?
That's not a bigger version of what you had already?
I'm still on the 390 one. Nice if you already had bigger one.

Anyway - what dealer tech's don't have time for that you need to make sure you do, from the manual.
Let it sit overnight locked for the BMS relearn process.
