Nope, normal version. Preload was/is fine. It's not the spring rate that makes it a bit bouncy, it's the damper; to be fiar, however, I am coming out of a German car with very high-end track suspension. Not a fair comparison. The ride on these reminds me much of almost every Japanese tuner car I've driven.
So far there have been no complaints about the normal version which seems to offer the same drop as the low version yet keeps a decent ride

Truck looking good btw

Think the Mav would be fine with 18x9.5 wheels at stock ride height?
Absolutely, at least at stock tire diameter of 29". I got no rub at all at stock height. Now with the drop, I get a slight rub at high steering angles, but not enough to effect my daily driving.

With my particular setup, there was absolutely no rubbing at all when at stock height. But the wheel offset and tire diameter certainly effect how things fit. My wheels have a 22mm offset, meaning they sit out further than the factory wheels. My tires are 255/55/18, which are the same diameter as stock, just wider. Changing the offset and/or the tire may cause a rub, but I can't comment since this is the only setup I've used.

Looks super sharp! I'm set on that size tires whenever mine comes. Did you had to mod your hubs to 5x114.3 or where you able to order those wheels in 5x108? thanks!

I was able to order a 5x108. They had 2 offsets available; mine is +22. I am running hubcentric rings in the front, and hubcentric 10mm spacers in the rear to get the stance close to square, the rear track is a bit narrower.

Awesome that's good to know, thank you very much! No idea when mine will show up but I was already pretty disappointed with availability of 5x108 wheels and was ready to order extra hubs and redrill them into 5x114.3.

Just installed: Bushwacker fender flares, along with 40mm front and 50mm rear wheel spacers from BORA. A bit of fender liner rubbing on tighter turns, but not terrible. The body shop will do a little trimming to clearance in a couple of weeks. With the wheel offset, track width is now nearly 6 inches wider than stock.

The brand is BORA. They will custom-machine spacers to your specs. Turnaround time is just a few weeks.
Thanks! Dis you end up needing extended lug studs/bolts? If so, can you share which ones? I’m a bit lost on this spacers topic.

BORA sells spacers that have integrated studs, depending on the width and style you specify. Check out the website; you can also specify a different bolt pattern if you want to use a wheel that isn't available in the factory pattern.
