Love it! Thanks for sharing. Too bad this color is now only going to be offered with the too-modern looking aluminum wheels for 2027.
Yes... the 17" steelies have a classic look to them. Replacing tires costs less too...

But that creates a feedback loop. When I visit a dealership and I only see black, white, and silver vehicles, I can only conclude either that is all they order or the other colors sell out as soon as they arrive. If the former, then they don't have any sales data on colored cars to make that determination. If the latter, their habit of primarily ordering monotone paint simply reinforces their perceived consumer demand for monotone paint.
It's neither of those. You're saying the same thing over again and just wording it a different way. You aren't comprehending that auto manufacturers want to make vehicles that sell and dealerships want to stock vehicles that sell the quickest. Auto buyers in the U.S. have proven year after year that they overwhelmingly prefer boring colors.

It's very similar to the people on forums or FB groups that ask why there are almost no options anymore for two door pickups. The full four door cab pickups far outsell the extended cabs and the two door full size pickup sales for Ford & Chevy are dismal. Ford, as well as all other auto manufacturers, have a pretty good idea of what sells and what consumer tastes are at every moment. If they're making almost solely crew cabs in their full size trucks it's because that's what consumers are demanding.

I had planned on trading in my 2023 Lariat 2.0L for a 2027 Lariat 2.0L so I could install the SV300T kit. But Ford and their bean counters managed to screw that plan up too.

Ford recommends the 4K Tow Package for the SV300T kit. The problem is, in 2027, the only Maverick that gives you both the 2.0L and the ability to option the 4K Tow Package is the XLT. The Lobo and Tremor can't be optioned with 4K towing.

This is exactly what is frustrating about where Ford has taken the Maverick. There used to be a lot more freedom to build the truck you actually wanted. Now it feels like Ford has decided you get Option A or Option B, and that's about it.

Hopefully Toyota can pick up the ball Ford dropped when their compact truck finally comes out. Maybe they'll understand that people actually want to be able to build a truck around what they need instead of being forced into whatever combination Ford's bean counters decided makes the most sense.

Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants, so long as it is black.
Any customer can have any Maverick that he wants, so long as it is A or B.
There's always another option...

I was going to say that Ford has it's analytics down to a science, but then I thought of the Ford Lightning... On second thought.... 😂

Same argument could be made for cars equipped with a manual transmission. Consumers don't want three-pedal cars anymore. It's a classic case of "Careful What You Ask For."

For me, I like the light blue especially with installing vinyl stripping or design, but the resale won’t be good as there isn’t a lot of people that it would attract, therefore, it would take longer to resale causing the resale or trade in to be lower
I hardly go a day without someone telling me they love the color.

Look at the Tremor, it’s a gas :’P
Very much more off road capable,
Sits up TWO inches higher, the stock tires added the second inch.
The fatter, taller 17 inch tires and the more
Off road tuned suspension give it more
Of a big ‘Truck’ feel.
It’s a noticeably smoother softer ride, eats small bumps for breakfast.

The B&O sound system and the acoustic windshield make a noticeable difference improvement.
The trim package is sweet. Overall the Tremor gets a bit LESS gas mileage !

The Tremor due to it’s suspension is not the best choice for towing.

It’s a win win all around. I like everything about mine. I like it far more than my 2024 Lariat.

The Tremors are Nice but much more money than I want to spend!! I looked at one last week when I had My oil changed!! The MSRP on the Tremor was $45,375.00 the MSRP on My 2025 AWD XLT with the 2.0 EB was only $31,510.00.00!!

You sir, are clueless.

The 191HP Hybrid with the E-CVT in AWD can chirp the tires from a stop. It is only one tenth of a second slower 0-60 than the Lobo with the 250HP 7 speed (TFL truck).

There is no dead feel at acceleration, but you wouldn't know that as you clearly have not driven one.
Motor Trend 2026 TOTY the AWD Hybrid XLT was 9 tenths slower 0-60 7.0 seconds vs 6.1 seconds for the Lobo 1/4 mile Hybrid was [email protected] mph and the Lobo was [email protected] mph in the 1/4 mile!!
And FWIW the Lobo ran the same ET 14.6 as what My 2025 AWD XLT Maverick with the 2.0 EB ran!! Although their mph was higher than mine!!

I drove two Mavbrids. They had just a tad more power off the line than my 2021 Bronco Sport base model with the 1.5 L 3 cylinder.

1.5L 3-Cylinder (I3): Used in newer models like the Ford Bronco Sport and Ford Escape (2021+). Produces 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, featuring cylinder deactivation and dual fuel injection (port and direct).

This was fine off the line but I wanted more acceleration from 40,50 mph to 70, 80 mph.

The combined Mavbrid HP is what, 191 HP
Together

I’ve been next to more than one hybrid Mav at the front at a stop light.
I’ve heard that 2.5 poor it’s guts out at full throttle.
One tenth of a second slower 0-60. I just don’t get it.
Unless your HV is topped off with a full charge ? Maybe ? Most of the time ?
I don’t do most if the time.

My Ecoboost walked away like I was drag racing a 55 horse power VW beetle.
By the time I hit sixty I was a dozen car lengths ahead if not more.

I left both those Mavbrids in my baffles so to speak.
I was shifting at or near as I could at 5,200 rpm where Hp and Tq numbers meet.
In a nut shell I was holding my Ecoboost back just a tad to keep it at max Torque output. I was pressing it and trying to hold it at 275 Ft pounds of twist.

Now I don’t want anyone to get pissy or mad. This was my experience.
This was not reading published numbers.

It is possible that both times the HV battery was at a low state of charge.
That variable alone would keep me out of the Mavbrid.

I’d love a shot at a stock Lobo with its seven speed.
I’d bet even with us both using our paddle shifters the Lobo would pull ahead.

Incase anyone didn’t know my 2026 Tremor has paddle shifters.
They are absolutely useless most of the time but they are most definitely C. A. F.

I must say that having precise control over what gear I’m in comes in handy when I’m climbing steep gravel in 1st or 2nd or 3rd gear. This is the only practical use I’ve found so far for the paddle shifters.
See My Post above Motor Trend 2026 TOTY the AWD Hybrid was 9 tenths of a second slower to 60 than the Lobo 7.0 seconds for the Hybrid and 6.1 for the Lobo!!

ok. Just repeating what my local dealer told me.
I know what you mean as I asked a dealer to quote me the fwd lariat hybrid and he couldn’t find it in the order bank system. Another dealer found it by luck after pricing the awd and then went to another page and found it

I think there is a glitch with the ordering system right now but they could use the price list to quote you a price until Ford fixes it. The order guide is correct.
