When I visit a dealership and I only see black, white, and silver vehicles, I can only conclude either that is all they order or the other colors sell out as soon as they arrive. If the former, then they don't have any sales data on colored cars to make that determination. If the latter, their habit of primarily ordering monotone paint simply reinforces their perceived consumer demand for monotone paint.This is a very backwards way of looking at it and makes no sense. Dealerships stock colors that are popular and that they know are more likely to sell. They don't want cars sitting on their lots in colors that no one is looking for. Then they end up having to discount them. They aren't just randomly closing their eyes and ordering random colors and options and then just hoping for the best.
