2025 Production Update

According to the production tracking site, our production date shifted from 11.11.24 to 10.31.24 on Halloween day. I don't know what "in production" means (paper trail started or actual work on the car started?). This morning I noticed that the field on the tracking page that says "last updated" changed from 10.31.24 to 11.7.24. I have no ideas why, as nothing else on that screen changed. If you check the tracking site regularly like me, you may see a change to the "last updated" field on your build as well. BTW, my order is for a 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid with no extras (beyond a front license plate holder).

I got bumped from 11/11 to 12/3 and am totally okay with it.

I dont expect to see mine until February. Would be a little shocked if it shows up sooner.

Ford has indicated a 4-6 week hold on job 1 mavericks for additional QC checks.

Assuming mine finishes the second week of December it will be held until mid to late January and then will take 10-14 days to make it from Mexico to Ohio.

I'm with you. My XLT with the Luxury Package & Drop-in Bed Liner was changed to "In Production" yesterday as well. My scheduled week didn't change, so maybe in production means materials were sent to the factory? Or maybe someone in the IT department erroneously changed all the trucks to "In Production".

I did notice my Window Sticker still hasn't been released. Has anyone seen their window sticker yet?

Same here, "In Production" as of 10/31/24 with the latest update now showing a date of 11/7/24 with no other changes.

I'm now showing "In Production" as well, it was last updated 11/7/24. It was bumped from the week of 11/11/24 to 11/18/24. Hybrid Lariat AWD.

“In Production” is went your order is sent to the plant. This happens about 1-2 weeks before your build week. This is a good thing as it does indicate your build week is ‘locked’ in; unless something major goes wrong with a part supplier missing their promised deliveries.
Think of it was the plant getting things lined up so all the parts are in the proper order as things go down the assembly line.

Takes a few days.

That's faster than I thought, but I guess production lines have been around for more than a couple of years!

I believe the actual time on the line is 1-1.5 days; depending on when it starts down the line. If you have accessories, which includes a bed-liner, that adds another day or two as that goes to a separate building (after going down the assembly line); they call that the ‘body shop’. My ‘22 did each of those in 1 day.

In Production means that your truck is being produced with these steps:

1: Sent to Plant
2: Body Shop
3. Trim Line

Then finally Produced then Shipped.

Mine has been "in production' for at least 3 weeks but nothing else has changed. I do not know what to understand or to believe. Was supposed to start to be built last week but nothing has changed. I called my salesman and he does not know any more than I do.

It's my understanding that production of the 2025 Maverick begins tomorrow. 11-11-24.
