My 2025 XLT Cruise Control only works when I can turn it on. With less than one month and 1,000 miles, the CC comes on when it wants, but it usually takes MANY pushes of the button (20 to hundred+). Made appointment with the local dealer from where purchased, got in 2 weeks later (6/11/2025). They gave me a loaner and 6 hours later said the problem is the Cruise Control Switch (BTW, same as 2024). They ordered a new switch, but because it's a "new model", the ETA of the replacement switch is unknown. Service lady said replacing the switch WILL also fix the lack of automatic braking... We'll see.
Another issue I've had is on at least two+ occasions, my door didn't unlock when I grabbed the handle. The dealer couldn't replicate that issue. It's a minor problem and reaching into my pocket to take-out the key and push the unlock button is not hard, but I thought I'd put it out there to see if there are any other people having these same issues.
NOTE to FORD: I took a huge leap of faith buying an 'El Fordo', straying from my usual Toyota. I wonder if Ford has any idea what QA, QC, or the word RELIABLE means?
Thank you, Maverick Truck Club, for listening to my WAAAAAAAAA:cry:

With that kind of luck. I'd sell it and go right back to Toyota you'd probably be much happier.
Just saying

I grew up with many WW2 veterans and they would return from the grave and beat me if I bought a Toyota. Not to mention I just was never impressed even after spending many weeks in their FIRST US plant.
Vietnam is now considered a vacation or retirement center.

My great uncles all seemed to end up in the navy in the pacific (my grandfather was already on his second hitch in the coast guard when Pearl Harbor happened).

I'll consider a Japanese vehicle after the last sailor who served in the Pacific is honorably laid to rest.

I would never buy a Toyota. Stick with the ever reliable and American owned Ford, Lincoln, Mercury.
