2024 Maverick Orders Now Being Prioritized - Contact Ford Chat to check

Roll over 23 to 24. Ford chat just told me few minutes ago mine is priority 2. Wonder how fast these 24's will be built. 30k likely will be built from October to December.

Order Banks still open. Even got emails from dealers about the Mav order banks. Hate to say it but if pushing the Hybrids up in price was to slow down Mav Sales. It worked. Now let me just wait for a Incentive

I am amazed that the 2024 order banks are still open.

But I am even more amazed that there are still people waiting on their 2021 orders.

It almost reminds me of the scene from The Wizard of Oz where the Wicked Witch is melting and says "What a world, what a world!".

Either your dealer placed you at "3" or:

Ford never said all MY23->MY24 orders would be prioritized at "2" just that they would prioritize the rollovers compared to regular MY24 orders.

My speculation is that original order date/time may have something to do with rollover priorities.

Order banks were only open for six days for MY23 so maybe Ford is assigning priorities based on order date like this:

9/15/23 - Priority 2
9/16/23 - Priority 3
9/17/23 - Priority 4
9/18/23 - Priority 5
Etc

Also maybe only orders that are COVP approved will get priority 2.

Again just speculation.

My ‘23 order was officially submitted on the 09/19 and it was prioritized at 2.

In order to be prioritized both orders need to be COVP, and your name, order code and sales code (dealer) must be exactly the same on both orders.

Check both DORAs and make sure everything matches

So glad I got a scheduled build date for my MY23 on 7/17/23 as Ford is again screwing MY23->MY24 rollover order holders by treating those who ordered late as equal to those who ordered on day 1.

huunvubu I did not order late. My dealer uses a central team to submit all orders for their same dealership family (they have multiple Ford dealerships in various locations). This causes their team to be overloaded with orders. My dealer had my order since November 2021 (order banks were closed when I tried to put in an order).

Also, priority codes only matter at a dealership level, so it doesn’t matter if you have priority 2 in a dealership with 1000 orders. If I’m priority 19 at a dealership with only my order, I will get it first no matter what.

I see a lot of assumptions and passion in your responses, please try to keep them accurate

My private offered was verified by a dealer sales rep. $2,500 for my unicorn XL hybrid.
He also said, not to worry about the expiration date.

I also called Ford Marketing, they told me my priority code is 2

Ford has never prioritized based on order date, the first in first out was nothing more than PR garbage. They need to keep their top performing dealers happy which means that those dealers will get priority and lower performing dealers will get treated like a red headed step child. Remember that we are not Ford's customer, the dealer network is.

You never really know, my priority code was 19 and I ordered just before the order bank closed in 2022 and I had it in just over 4 months from the time I ordered.
