I got a Hybrid XL with 360 and a hitch. Took about 580 days since ordered.
Good
- Quiet
- I like the interior
- Great headroom! I have 4 or 5 inches over my head and I'm 6'2"
- Acceleration is "jaunty" from like 0-20, and it never feels like you're driving a Prius
-factory standard CC is really nice.
- Love knowing I have the safety features
- Android auto works well and integrates simply. I did not feel like I was missing anything with the screen size.
Bad
- The hybrid drive system makes high pitched whines that sound like a far off fire engine siren at low speeds. Not a prob on the highway, but around the city I'm always trying to figure out where the fire truck is coming from.
- Paint scratches easily, at least in the bed.
The in-between
- Not crazy about the twist shifter, but it's ok. I know shifting all the way right is drive but I don't like that you have to look at it to find reverse. It lacks the tactile feedback of a mechanical shifter.
- Mileage. I live in Texas where the highways are 70mph. Averaging 75 over 500 miles, I get 36mpg. If you are highway commuting primarily at high speeds, you can get the Ecoboost and get similar mileage with a much faster engine.
- touch screen is very upright and your fingernails need to be short to hit the buttons.
