There is a truck for everyone. We needed something we could flat tow behind the RV that gets great milage and for us the hybrid was the only choice.

I have a XLT Hybrid order with Lux package, ordered MY23 last Sept when the order bank opened. I am getting to the point I am seriously considering switching to EcoBoost because I need a truck more than the 10mpg improvement.

But this news brings new hope, or do you guys think switching to EB might be a better choice in my case? I can still switch with same price?

Thanks!
Don't do it.......I had 2 hybrids ordered......switched one to EB........still NOTHING for EITHER one!!! Both ordered day one, and confirmed 9/16 by FORD!!!! FORD=Factory Orders Rarely Done!!!!

Given that scheduling is thru May and my23 production ends October 14th that leaves approximately 4 1/2 months left to schedule. Do we have an estimate as to how many there are left to schedule overall?

If the bump is 40% from 35% it is closer to a 14% increase in the number of hybrids built not 5%. Sorry the CPA coming out in me.
My thoughts exactly. 14% more than previous Hybrid portion of the mix.

So I just spoke to my dealer. They said their maverick allotment is 45 in total and this month they are getting 12 hybrid and ecoboost together. Sounds pretty low to me.

Thanks for everyone who responded, I think I'll hold onto my hybrid order for now and keep waiting.

It's an option to buy that costs you nothing.

I have discovered that I almost like waiting. I thought about ordering a Ranger, just so I could be on a Ford list.

To be clear, this is not an option to buy because it's not available for you to buy. Only when they have it built and call you to pick up, it then is an option to buy. Right now it's just a deposit you put down for a position in an iffy queue.

Does anyone know if I change my XLT order to a Lariat, it will effect my place in line? I don't want to move back unnecessarily.

My dealer didn't want a deposit. When and if it becomes available, I will be able to purchase it - or not. My option.

It takes a long time, but it is worth the wait.
