Hi all, I am from Texas and just got my Mav XLT, 1k miles on the OEM Continentals and planning to drive to Colorado during Christmas. I am going to get the chains to go up for hills but any advice whether I need to change out the OEM tires before the trip? Thanks.

Hi all, I'm supposed to take delivery in about a week, being shipped now. How do I make sure the dealer doesn't sneak in some dealer installed options? I already put down a $500 deposit when I ordered, is there anything more I should do?

My 23 says Shipped on the site and dealer said it will be here in a week but on the site I still don't see the windows sticker. Should I call Ford customer service?

If you see that before leaving the dealer lot, you'd ask them to order a replacement part and come back for install later? I wonder how long it would take.

To be clear, this is not an option to buy because it's not available for you to buy. Only when they have it built and call you to pick up, it then is an option to buy. Right now it's just a deposit you put down for a position in an iffy queue.

So I just spoke to my dealer. They said their maverick allotment is 45 in total and this month they are getting 12 hybrid and ecoboost together. Sounds pretty low to me.

Thanks for everyone who responded, I think I'll hold onto my hybrid order for now and keep waiting. Off topic, my friend who put in a reservation for a Lightning almost 2 years ago finally got an email letting him order one.
