From the description -

Surprised offer of Hybrid AWD wasn't on there - maybe they're waiting for 2024 when they can catch with demand? (I know this is a list of wanted changes not confirmations)
That's what I want more than anything else. It's available on the Escape, so it shouldn't be a big jump to add it to the Maverick.

Me too. I am looking forward to what the 2023 models will be like and offer, and if that leaked performance variant with the twin cut out ports in the rear bumper for twin exhaust will be offered as well.

Thats a neat avatar picture you have. What world map is that of?
Actually my avatar is from the opening title scenes of my favorite arcade game, Primal Rage 😁 love the game so much. I built my own miniature version of it.

Yep - I would gladly pay a higher price to have it. But at this point it seems like Ford will sell plenty without it, so there isn't any really incentive for them.

Wait... Fully autonomous driving? What f150 has that? Tesla's don't even have that. It doesn't exist and won't for AT LEAST ten years. Or is another BS "full self driving" like Tesla's that'll make a choppy turn in perfect conditions 90% of the time and try like hell to end some poor cyclists life the other 10%?

Good video @fordvideoguy ! Makes me realize that while I am still very much hoping to get my January order scheduled for MY22, it would not be the end of the world to be pushed to MY23, depending on how many refinements Ford makes to the vehicle.

If it was not AWD it would ne RAV2
Our 2019 RAV4 comes standard with AWD. The mileage (EPA) is about the same as the Mav, but the RAV4 has a bigger battery: 1.6 kWh vs. 1.1 in the Mav.

Yeah, my top interest would be CC on XL, and the sport appearance or STX type package. Long shot would be the extended screen to fill the cubby.

My list is very different. I have only 3 things on my list: heads-up display (love it on my Mazda CX-5), A/C (ventilated) seats and a 5 foot bed instead of 4.5 foot.

How about a 5 speed manual? (Not holding my breath). I also have a 2007 Jeep Patroit. 5 speed. Told the wife I will "Drive it till the wheels fall off."

I'm planning on placing a '23 order the minute it opens up, but my one hesitation is it being an automatic. I find automatics boring to drive... But my options are limited these days, other than a Gladiator, which I'm not interested in.

The Maverick is exactly the truck I've been wanting for 15 years now... Minus the manual transmission. But if I have to give up manual, at least give me a PHEV version.

I wouldn't mind a smaller cab option too, I rarely have passengers these days but that's not too much a biggie.

If '23 comes in manual I'll be one happy man... It won't though unfortunately. Manufacturers are removing manual options, not adding them.

They need to include homelink since this truck fits in a garage. Also glovebox lock.
Glove box locks are almost useless unless they bring back the 2 key system so you can give the valet just the ignition/door key.

Rear seat delete. Better yet, an extended cab. Though much as I want that, I can see how it would be at the bottom of Ford's list. Because not all of us need 4 seats.
2.5na
6 speed stick
Bench seat
Long Box
4.k tow, trailer controller, hitch and trans cooler available on every model

PHEV option is sorely needed

With the reports of low to mid 30’s on ecobust I have no doubt a standard 2.5 with a granny 6 couldn’t do even better
